The text in this site is copyright of the authors. If quoting or referring to text from this site please use the citation at the bottom of each page.

Photo use

If the photos in this dataset are used in any way, that requires attributing the photographer. The license & photographer name can be used to create an attribution statement. Unless the photo license specifies the photo is in the public domain, all photographers retain copyright of their photos, and the license under which the photo is shared dictates how the photo can be used. Please ensure that any use of these photos is in compliance with their Creative Commons license terms.

Most of the photographs on this site are licensed as CC-BY-NC and should only be used for non-commercial purposes.

Some photos are "all rights reserved" and cannot be used except with explicit permission from the creators.

The creator of each photograph is given in the caption beneath the photograph.

Photos with other Creative Commons licenses can be attributed as "© [photographer name], some rights reserved ([license abbreviation])". For example "© Full Name, some rights reserved (CC-BY)", or "© Full Name, some rights reserved (CC-BY-NC)"
