| Description: | |
The most northerly sites of karst - speleological interest in this area are the suite of relict caves in the cliffs which lie on the sandstone - limestone contact. Here, five short caves show classic examples of anastomoses, phreatic passage with vadose entrenchment, small natural arches and fine clastic sediment infills. The hill to the west of Doagh Lough is split by a dry valley with a series of small cliffs and relict caves. | |
